It&#8217;s made up of <strong>9 centres<\/strong>, <strong>36 channels<\/strong> and <strong>64 gates<\/strong> \u2013 each layer shows a different level of how you&#8217;re built.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It isn&#8217;t a predictive tool. Think of it more like a map of your energy \u2013 where it&#8217;s constant, where it&#8217;s variable, and where you absorb the most from your surroundings. Each one governs a different area of how you function:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Head Centre<\/strong> (crown) \u2013 inspiration and mental pressure, the questions that keep pushing you forward.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Ajna Centre<\/strong> \u2013 thinking and conceptualising, how you form your opinions.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Throat Centre<\/strong> \u2013 communication and action; where the inner becomes visible and audible.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>G Centre<\/strong> (identity) \u2013 direction, identity, love; your sense of who you are and where you&#8217;re headed.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Ego Centre<\/strong> (heart\/will) \u2013 self-worth, willpower, commitments; also your relationship to material things.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Sacral Centre<\/strong> \u2013 life force and work energy; for Generators and Manifesting Generators, also the inner authority.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Splenic Centre<\/strong> \u2013 instinct, intuition, the immune system; it speaks once, quietly.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Emotional Centre<\/strong> (solar plexus) \u2013 feelings and emotional waves; when undefined, a common source of absorbing other people&#8217;s emotions as your own.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Root Centre<\/strong> \u2013 pressure, stress, the drive behind taking action.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 59px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DEFINED VS. UNDEFINED CENTRES<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On your chart, every centre is either coloured in or white. That difference is probably the single most important piece of information on the entire bodygraph.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Defined centres<\/strong> (coloured) are your constant energy \u2013 you&#8217;re reliable there, for yourself and for others, and your behaviour is consistent no matter who else is in the room.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Undefined centres<\/strong> (white) are places of openness. You absorb and amplify the energy around you there \u2013 which can be a gift (deep empathy, the ability to learn from others) or a trap (taking on other people&#8217;s patterns as your own, without realising they were never yours).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody has all nine centres defined. A fully defined chart would mean being completely closed off from the world \u2013 that&#8217;s not how anyone actually works.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 59px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CHANNELS AND GATES<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>64 gates<\/strong> are 64 small, precise themes \u2013 each one carries its own meaning, tied to one of the 64 I Ching hexagrams. Gates activate based on the exact position of the planets at your birth (and 88 days before it).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When both gates at either end of the same connection are activated, a <strong>channel<\/strong> forms \u2013 a solid link between two centres that defines both of them. The 36 possible channels are the building blocks of your chart; which ones are active for you determines which centres are defined and how they connect to each other.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t need to know the individual gates in detail to get started. Understanding the picture at the centre level matters more \u2013 channels and gates come into play once you go deeper.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"height: 59px;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW TO READ YOUR CHART<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"no-margin wp-block-paragraph\">Once you have your bodygraph, start in this order:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Look at how many centres are coloured in. This tells you your basic <a href=\"https:\/\/magic-leader.com\/en\/human-design-types\/\">energy type<\/a> \u2013 Generator, Projector, Manifestor, Reflector or Manifesting Generator.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Find your Sacral, Splenic or Ego centre \u2013 whichever one (if any) is defined determines your <strong>inner authority<\/strong>, your internal compass for decisions.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Notice the white centres \u2013 these are your areas of openness.
